Paul Blume was raised with journalism in his blood. He grew up in Lexington, MA where his parents owned and published two local newspapers. Paul began writing in high school and interned on the Sports desk at the Lowell Sun newspaper while a student at Bates College. His writing and passion for storytelling launched him into an award-winning broadcast journalism career that has taken him to five network affiliated stations in four states including Alaska.

- Dispatched to Las Vegas to cover October 2017 mass shooting aftermath: local MN casualties, tourism fears and security implications.
- Embedded journalist traveling with National Guard troop during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Telling the stories of citizen soldiers inside a war zone.
- Extensive reporting on the fatal drug overdose death of Prince, and subsequent criminal probe.
- Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.
- Extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system. Regularly assigned and generating stories on the courthouse beat including high-profile, gavel-to-gavel trial coverage.
